If you add a ring to the shopping cart before
setting the size you want it will just say "size
please" instead of the size you need. To
rectify this just empty the item by setting
the quantity to zero and clicking "update
cart" and then choose the size you need
on the rings page and just "add to cart"
again.
We can usually make any design in the size
you require. Designs are made and put up for
sale in the size originally made; alternative
sizes are made up to order.
We do not and will not plagiarize another artist
/ designers ideas. If what you have “seen”
is a mass produced standard design, then it
is unlikely that we would be able to make it
for less. If what you have “seen”
is, say, a “chunky heavyweight gold diamond
solitaire ring” then we would probably
be able to produce something with a similar
“feel” at a very competitive price.
Most likely yes: there are some processes which
we do not currently have the scale or machinery
for, but if the item in question can be handmade,
then we can do it for you. When asking about
a possible commission, try to be as detailed
as possible, as this allows us to reply with
an accurate quote for making the item up.
We are happy to remodel any item of jewellery
which you no longer wear. It is more practical
when the item in question is of a reasonable
quality / value, but sometimes we have remodelled
items that hold an emotional value; like an
item which has been inherited from a family
member etc
We use Paypal for payments because it is a
well established, secure method of receiving
payments from people worldwide. If you do not
wish to use Paypal as the method of payment
for purchasing an item from us, we do accept
payment from other web based payment methods,
or if you do not wish to use a secure web based
method, alternative payment methods include
direct bank transfer, personal cheque, postal
order.
This is a bit like the “how longs a piece
of string” question. But basically we
try to complete orders within a 30 day turn
around. If there is a problem with a specific
order, for example in acquiring the materials
etc, then we will keep you informed of any delay,
and if a delay proves unacceptable to you and
you wish to cancel the order we will provide
a full refund.
Christmas is the absolute busiest time of the
year for most people and for us especially.
Because of our limited production capacity we
have to apply a cut off period for Christmas
orders. When this is applied is dependant on
a number of factors, like the volume of work,
destination etc. The best way of guaranteeing
that you get an item in time for Christmas is
to order early. How early? As early as you can.
If you do not like an item ordered that was
ordered from our website, then return it within
twenty days of the delivered date for a full
refund. People are sent an image of self commissioned
items to view when the item is finished, generally
before any payment is requested. Self commissioned
items can also be retuned within a twenty day
period, except for items which are very specific
to an individual (for example something using
someone’s initials).
If an item is the wrong size it can be returned
undamaged for resizing or a refund. It is better
for all parties to get the size of an order
correct in the first instance so please take
the time to make sure you know the size required

Items are despatched well wrapped for protection
during carriage, but we do not include special
or branded packaging; this helps to keep item
costs low. If you want gift packaging we can
supply something for an extra cost, or it is
cheaper for you to buy, or preferably, make
something suitable once the item arrives.

information. All information given will be held
in complete privacy. To prevent unwanted solicitation,
we will not sell, rent or disclose our customers'
information to third parties for e-mail, marketing
